Feb. 26: Laser Tag

We’re heading to Ultrazone in Milwaukie for laser tag! After the 10:45am Service, we’ll gather in the bridge room, eat some lunch, and then load the van and head out to Ultrazone for a few action-packed games of laser tag. Parents/guardians are welcome, or you are also more than welcome to drop your student off and pick them up at the end! Keep an eye out for a flyer and an additional email with more info this coming week.

Mar. 19: Vintage Game Day

Who doesn’t love a vintage video game? We’ll gather after the 10:45 Service at Pastor Brandon’s house (a.k.a. the Prayer House) for an afternoon of snacks and awesome vintage video games. MarioKart 64, anyone?

Apr. 16: Tie Dye Party

We are going to try our hand at some good old-fashioned tie-dye goodness on the afternoon of April 16. We’ll provide a shirt for each participant, but feel free to bring your own items to dye as well!

May 12: Campout/Sleepover

We’re splitting the boys and the girls for this one! Boys will have a campout on the property of a family from the church just outside of Oregon City. Dads are welcome! Girls will have an overnight in the great indoors with lots of fun activities, movies, and maybe even some sleep! Moms are welcome! NOTE: The weather MAY not cooperate, so the date and/or locations of this one could change. Stay tuned for more details as the day approaches!

Jun 4: Hike at Multnomah Falls

We’re going to spend some time out in nature at a world-famous nearby landmark, Multnomah Falls! Grab your backpack and your water bottle and we’ll hike the trails and take in the falls.

Jul 9-14: Middle School Camp

Calling all current and incoming 6th-graders! Middle School camp is happening this year at Triangle Lake! Get out into nature, get tossed off a tube, get connected to Jesus. It’s gonna be amazing, and you don’t want to miss it!

Aug. 10-13: Church Campout

We’re taking the whole church camping at Metzler Park in Estacada, OR. Check out the church bulletin and website as the event approaches for more details!

Sep. 10: Fall Kickoff

We’re going to start the school year off with a bang this year with an awesome one-evening event at the church. We’ll have food, we’ll have games, and there will be a couple of super-extra-amazing-spectacular (and super-secret ) activities that are going to be an unforgettable way to start the new school year!

Oct. 15: Bunco Night

We’re joining with the rest of OCEC youth for a great big night of Bunco! If you’ve never played, you’re in for a treat! There will be tons of fun, exciting gameplay, and some awesome prizes for the winners!

Nov. 12: Bridgegiving

Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, sweet potatoes, and lots of desserts! We’re going to have a full-scale Thanksgiving Dinner Party as a ministry. We’ll eat, laugh, and spend some time sharing things we are thankful for.

Dec. 17: Christmas Party

We’re going to have a Christmas party, complete with homemade hot chocolate, snacks, and a white-elephant gift exchange.
